Organizing the purposeful event focused on fostering connections and collaboration around the topics of sustainability and inclusion that aims to:
- Foster technological innovation: Facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration among researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors, thereby paving the way for innovative solutions to tackle future challenges.
- Encourage sustainable development: By sharing experiences and best practices, we can inspire the adoption of sustainable solutions across various sectors.
- Establish a collaborative network among diverse stakeholders, including businesses, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, and governments. These connections can foster strategic partnerships, joint projects, and long-term knowledge exchanges, thereby accelerating sustainable progress.
- Ignite public interest: A well-publicized event can draw media attention and public interest, raising awareness about the importance of sustainable development and technological progress. High-Quality Sustainable Business
ACTION DESCRIPTION
During the EGOS 2023 Colloquium, CREA UniCa plans to conduct an advanced training course for the economic operators participating in the project. The course will focus on various aspects of sustainability, in order to:
- Understand the principles of sustainability: Offer an overview of the key concepts tied to sustainability, encompassing the environmental, social, and economic impacts of business activities, and the significance of a balanced and sustainable approach.
– Raise awareness of global challenges: Enlighten participants about major global challenges like climate change, depletion of natural resources, pollution, and inequality, and how these challenges influence economic activities.
– Identify sustainable opportunities: Assist participants in recognizing business opportunities stemming from sustainability, such as adopting responsible production and consumption practices, developing sustainable products and services, and accessing new sustainable markets.
– Sustainable management strategies: Provide practical tools and approaches for integrating sustainability into business strategies, including natural resource management, energy efficiency, waste reduction, promoting decent work conditions, and stakeholder engagement.
– Stakeholder engagement: Highlight the importance of involving internal and external stakeholders, such as employees, suppliers, customers, and the local community, in promoting sustainable practices within the company.
– Monitoring and evaluation of sustainable performance: Introduce tools and methods for assessing and monitoring the company's sustainable performance, measuring relevant sustainability indicators, and developing transparent reporting systems.
– Sustainable communication: Guide participants in effectively communicating the company's sustainable initiatives and results, both internally and externally, to build trust, engage customers, and foster a sustainable reputation.
– Networking and sharing best practices: Encourage interaction and experience sharing among participants, creating networking opportunities and fostering collaboration for the adoption of best sustainable practices.
– Development of a sustainable action plan: Support participants in crafting a personalized action plan to implement sustainable measures within their business activities, taking into account their objectives and available resources.

Permanent seminar of linguistic and literary studies on Latin America and the Caribbean "Aulas Abiertas"
ACTION DESCRIPTION
Online Spanish course lasting 25 hours open to students of Languages and Communication, Languages and cultures for linguistic mediation, European and American languages and literatures, Specialist translation of three-year and master's texts, aimed at providing the tools to be able to use the language Spanish in its social and environmental dimension. Organized in collaboration with CREA UniCA. Teacher: Maria Cristina Secci. Speaker: Haydée Bermudez Guevara.
The course will take place from 29 June to 13 July and offers the possibility of obtaining 1 credit. To participate, you must send your application with a motivational letter in Spanish (min.200-max300 words) to secci@unica.it
